Pain Relief!
A young 23-year-old male came to the hospital with severe back pain and pain radiating to both legs. MRI showed a disc protrusion pressing on the spinal cord and nerve roots.
He was operated and managed with a laminectomy and discectomy at L5-S1 followed by posterior lumbar interbody fusion and trans-pedicular fixation at L5-S1 level with four screws.
The patient recovered and is now comfortable and pain-free.
